Assistant Dog Trainers Course – 2 Weeks – $500

This immersive two-week course offers a one-of-a-kind experience in the world of shelter dog volunteering. You’ll work side-by-side with professional dog trainers, helping our rescue dogs learn both obedience and agility. Obedience training boosts their chances of adoption, while agility builds confidence and trust—essential for dogs coming from difficult pasts.

But it’s not all about training. Volunteers also take part in city walks and beach outings to help socialize the dogs in real-world settings—and to keep the experience fun and rewarding for everyone. One unforgettable highlight: taking our rescue dogs out on a surfboard in the Gulf of Thailand. It’s a memory you’ll carry for life.

While the course is deeply enjoyable, it’s also a serious foundation in dog training. The hands-on skills you’ll gain can be used to train dogs anywhere, for years to come. And we hope you do—because if you can train a shy, traumatized street dog to trust and respond, you can train any dog.
