We are really excited that our first dog training course is close. We have been building a dedicated area to train with shelter from the elements , our agility equipment is also being built and shipped in to Thailand. We have dogs that are really keen to start training too.

If you are interested in learning how to teach dog obedience using positive reinforcement techniques in a beautiful destination contact us. As well as obedience you will learn how to build a fearful dogs confidence using agility equipment. We will have pack walks at the beach, it’s great socialisation for the dogs.

Nearly every other program at dog shelters for volunteers consists of cleaning the kennels and walking the dogs. Now we aren’t saying that isn’t important, but wouldn’t you rather spend quality time, learning new skills, understanding the language of dogs, rehabilitating them and training them? Learn dog training skills that you can take home and use with your own dogs or customers dogs. When you understand the correct way to do things with dogs, you see a different dog. When you see a dog that was afraid of people bloom and trust people it is rewarding. You won’t have changed the world but you will have changed the world for that dog. You will have constant support, you won’t be left wondering what should I do ? You can ask and we will help straight away.

So if you just want to spend a few weeks cleaning kennels this isn’t for you. If you want to get dogs flying over an A frame and diving through jumps then we are the course for you. If you want to get a dog on a surf board with you, we can do that, just make sure you bring the doggy life jacket. It will be a really fun rewarding 2 weeks.

You can take 2-4 weeks for the courses with us. But after that you are very welcome to stay longer training the dogs. You will be confident and competent to do that.
